第一个问题：什么样的文章是好的？怎么样才能写好文章？
写作的第一要义是清晰地表达，第二要义就是修改。

• Clear writing just takes having something to say and clear thinking.
• Elegant and stylish writing happens in revision, even for professional writers.
  第二个问题：写好文章的条件是什么？
• Having something to say.
• Logical thinking.
• A few simple, learnable rules of style.
  第三个问题：让自己写得更好的步骤是什么？
• Read, pay attention, and imitate.
• Write in a journal.
• Let go of "academic" writing habits.
• Talk about your research before trying to write about it.
• Write to engage your readers-try not to bore them!
• Stop waiting for "inspiration."
• Accept that writing is hard for everyone.
• Revise. Nobody gets it perfect on the first try.
• Learn how to cut ruthlessly. Never become too attached to your words.
• Find a good editor.
• Take risks.
